Forcing people to post before being able to browse a subforum just causes random spam and a bunch of accounts that get created and only have one post. My old forum was that way but i realized no one was participating so i removed the limit and just tried to make more content. Still failed but at least my stats weren't inflated.

Believe me guys, this is not a method we ploy just to get you to post. We create this method just to protect the download links. How would you feel if you came to try an App or game, but the download link is taken down. It will happen if the post requirement is removed. We are exploring other options, but asking for 1 post is not that much to ask for.

I'm currently looking at other options but will update and give an announcement when we figure something out.

Is there some way to prevent the "test" & request posts that are being spammed in the APPs subforums for that "first post count" number? I've tried reporting them in the last few days, but there were server errors when reporting some &/or the posts still remain... cluttering up the intentions of that subforum.

    Thank you.

Thank you, but what about moving/removing the posting spam from the APPs subforums?
