• webOS 3.0.5 Update is now available to Download - 1/12/2012

    Good news everyone, ever since the leaked developer beta version of webOS 3.0.5 doctor was released we have all been wondering when the official 3.0.5 update will be available.

    Majority of detail pointed to January 2012, and looks like we were on point. webOS 3.0.5 is available and can be found by going to your "System Updates" in "settings".


    We are hoping a lot of bug fixes will be made after the update. Post your updates and opinions below!

      Ran the update and 5 minutes later TP froze up.Doing Webos Doctor now to repair..

      Geez. What a headache that was.. After Java went MIA and I had to re install that, I had to try 8 times before Webos doctor would even get recognized to repair whatever damage the update did to my TP..Total BS....

      I don't want to be too obvious, but if you have loaded android to your tablet you might want to remove it. Because my tablet also froze and I had to doctor it. BTW because my tablet is a demo tablet I found out that they have remove the lock on them. No need to use the by-pass.

      Doctor took forever, freezed up at 12% for a while than continued after 10 mintues, took like 5 minutes for first startup, so far so good....

      Worked fine for me. Did not uninstall anything, just updated and everything works fine.

      I never had android installed. Is there a way to make sure the next update doesnt wipe out all the games and apps I have downloaded from this site? EVERYTHING was gone and had to re install all of it yesterday..

      update ran perfect on mine, just had to reinstall the dual boot for CM7.

      I had previously reverted to 3.03 after having sound issues with 3.04, I updated to 3.04 and then 3.05 yesterday. now back with webOS and Android on my touchpad.

      Update 3.0.5 worked fine for me. Also now accelerometer for Glyder2 , NFS & Asphalt 6 are working fine !

      I am still at 3.0.2 because I didn't like the accelerometer bug in 3.0.4 at all.
      Are you sure it is fixed? Also tell me, I have installed preware and a few of its patches for disabling extra logging in Touchpad. I have not overclocked my TP and no CM7 installed ever. I just have 3.0.2 and a few apps from webOSbuzz.
      How should I proceed for this update?

      I didn't do any special ! Just installed the update available under "system update" under setting page !

      Accelerometer in 3.0.5 is much better than as compared to 3.0.4 .
      If you had 3.0.4, the I would have definitely advised to go for 3.0.5.
      But since you have 3.0.2, you may need advices from other people here @ accelerometer comparison !

      I have upgraded to 3.0.5 and I am happy with accelerometer performance.

      so all of a sudden I had to restore my touchpad, talk about a pain. It's nothing but a headache I had deleted several apps that I got from the app store after not using them any more, of course we all know what happens when you do a fresh install it installs stuff that I no longer use. On top of that I have to redo all patches and get things set back to how I like it. I love WEBOS but this kind of thing makes me boot into cm9. I almost just set CM9 as default.

      updated my touchpad today and it working better than ever now nfs and the other games and apps that didn't work correctly now work and my touchpad seems to be moving faster now also

      I tried to install ipk file with WOSQI 4.2.3 & 4.3.1 & it did not recognized my touchpad.
      before the update I did not have problems.

      I just wanted to ask about the CM9. Is it worth installing Ice Cream Sandwitch? is it bugs free? everything working?
