Anyone checkout the engadget show with Jon Ruby? Dude is really persistent in not telling any details..starting to get annoying if you ask me.

It has been slow. Still waiting on some news or big release of the Pre 3. Then we can get some awesome apps.

Agreed. They are taking too long to get to market. We need the Pre3 and TouchPad to get to market immediately to spark dev interest and make WebOS a true competitor.
I have used iOS, Android, and BlackBerry. WebOS is only rivalled by iOS in terms of fluid, cohesive, well engineered OS, but iOS has the app advantage.

WebOS really needs better app selection. I personally want to see a good VNC client like LogMeIn Ignition and a turn by turn navigation app like TomTom, Garmin, or the likes. Navit is pretty bad and the maps don't even have my city.

Additionally, I want the Pre3 because it's the first hardware form factor that does the OS justice. We need a device that doesn't look like a makeup case and has a bigger HD screen for web browsing and games or whatever you are into.

I like the Pre 3 screen size. Its perfect. The Pre 3 is my perfect phone but no 4G. If it had 4G, I'd jump to any carrier. But look at this, all these phones already coming out has better hardware already. HP/Palm just takes too long, they get outdated by the time their device is released.

we need the ipad3 2500x1600 screen too! and a decent camera app. i'm quite suprised at how awful the camera is - it's as bad as my old hp mini (Black one). no camera app too? wow.

If they'd join up with sprint and offer unlimited data for $30 a month - i'd pick the tablet over the ipad2/3 but man if they join up with AT&T and 2GB for $25 that is going to be the death blow.
