    Angry Little problem with preware O_o

    i try to install something and it just stays on :

    Downloading/Installing
    Transferred:947/947
    Time left: --:--:--
    Transfer speed : 850



    its just stuck on that or it sometimes just failed and says View IPKG log with an error message, ive tried reseting my phone and stuff but it dosent want to work..

    any resolution apreciated

    I would delete Preware and reinstall it from WebOSQuickInstall. See if that fixes it.

    I have the same problem I tried to install NFS Hot pursuit using preware it's just a spinning circle.
    Downloading/Installing
    Transferred:245/245
    Time left: --:--:--
    Transfer speed : 4096
    I'm using a HP touchpad

    Edit: it says installed but I dont see the app

    yep i turned it off and I see it is there any app lie to refresh the home screen or do I have to keep rebooting every time I install an app

    this is the case for most big apps. small apps usually don't have this problem. this was noted in the webOS applications if people have problems.

    It takes an absolute age to finish installing after it still spinning (15 minutes or so) , and you will find it in your Downloads area

    Yeah i had this happen with NFS and just let it sit there for a while. Shame there isn't a decent progress for installing (not that that is ever an easy thing to make... for any system).
