How To Download Media To Touchpad??
I'm looking for a way to download mp3's (music) and mp4's (Videos) directly on the Touchpad. Is there a way to do this through the browser or an app that will make this work? Thanks.

If it's the audio or video file then you just download it and it will get sent to your download folder. If you download a video just click on the photos app on and go to videos and your file should be there and if it's music it should automatically be in your music player ready for playback.

You can also use the app TB File Transfer from the preware catalog. Just need to run the server version on your pc and you can transfer files wirelessly back and forth from any folder if you're on the same router.

ya but still requires pc. Best way without pc is mp3skull , copy url, paste in app called drizzle. Downloads right to you downloads folder and automatically adds with art/title to music player.

Download and use InternalzPro file manager to navigate to the file (if your media player wont open it).

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I didn't feel the need to make a new one. Has anyone figured this out yet? Whenever I try to download a media file the default HP Touchpad player tries to open it. I would rather the file just be downloaded and stored into the touchpad. If anyone has figured it out please let me know!

frizzle not allowing to add links for download
I have been looking for an app that would assist me in downloading music. I read this post and downloaded and Installed the app from here (webosbuzz). Its a good download manager but when I try to add a link to download (press the button with the plus sign) it says "common read! Beta has ended"
some info on this would be nice. Mainly how and links for download.
By the way, I am happy the sites like webosbuzz.com exist. I live in Belize and the HP catalog is not available in my region.

download media files to hp touchpad
Since my last post I found an app that allows you to download music to your HP TouchPad. The app is "Crystal Development Download Manager" The website is (if I am allowed)( http://www.crystal-dev.de/portfolio/download-manager/ ).
How to use it:-
copy the url and paste in a text document
open the app Crystal Download manager
type in the field the first letter of the url, or as much as you want
from the text document select and copy the url without the the letters type in the download manager
press add and then press the download button and it will start downloading.
hopefully my instructions are clear.

COMPLETE AND EASY WAY TO DOWNLOAD MP3S STRAIGHT TO TP 1. Download filecoaster from preware.
2.open filecoaster and select file url download
3. To download the mp3 you need a mp3 url (search songs on beemp3.com and Copy the url to the app)
give it a minute for the stock player to recognize the song.
*note not designed for the touchpad so you have the pre screen*

Im currently working on a mp3 search engine that is mobile friendly and touchpad friendly. We shall see how it turns out.
