So you posted the thread here, I thought you would post in tinhte.vn, haha, waited for a while. I am going to make a unicode Prelude font this or next weekend (not so sure). Will be glad if you can test it. Check update in tinhte

Hi Xterminater,
Thanks for your great instruction and your time to prep the fonts. I followed exactly step by step and everything worked great. Just have a quick question for you. Would it be possible that I can delete the folder HPbackupunicodefonts in the hp touchpad or do I have to keep the folder for the touchpad to function. Once again, thank you very much for your help.

If you want to type Vietnamese you download file frome this link
http://www.box.com/s/rcobf701tv2bepp337go
and copy file text-edit-autoreplace to replace file in this location
/usr/palm/smartkey/XT9/DefaultData/autoreplace/en_us
and then copy folder en_us to here
/usr/palm/smartkey/XT9/DefaultData/autoreplace-hc/
and then restart HP touchpad
this way from tinhte.vn

cp media/internal/HPbackupunicodefonts/*.* usr/share/font does not work or am I missing something.
I don't see hobackupinicodefont folder
so what's the command telling me to do, copy from or to share/font.Last edited by iPETE; 07-28-2012 at 05:16 PM.

Nevermind, i found out that "HPbackupunicodefont" means your own font xxxxx.ttf. It's working now but not 100%. Some are still square even after I add reg, italic, and bold. Now just need the keyboard layout.
