    I'm having the exact same problem. So far HP live chat doesn't know what the hell is causing it either.

    to save you some time, manually setting up email didn't fix jt either.

    yeah, i'm thinking a webOS doctor visit is the only way to fix this. removing/re-adding emails accounts did not help. connecting to gmail via manual setup (imap/smtp) did not work either.

    Good to know it is not just me having this issue. It's been fine up until 2 days ago.

    Just stopped working for some odd reason not sure why. It will show that the emails have been received but with no ability to view the actual email.

    Just removing and adding the email accounts did not help. I had to use webos doctor to reset the system and then restored the backup. The emails started working fine after that.

    Solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    http://forums.precentral.net/hp-touc...roblems-3.html

    Make sure you are not including the " " I have around it. Type the following in the command line and the following only:
    find /var/file-cache -type f -mtime -7 -exec rm -f {} \;

    Then wait for about 10 seconds until it takes you back to the prompt. Then, reboot. You might make sure you've removed the Muffle System Logging patch 1st.

    "Installing" Emergency Filecache Wipe from Preware (uploaded today) did the trick for me.

    Just fixed the problem so simply....someone made a patch to fix the problem automatically. Use preware and search for "Emergency Filecache Wipe"...install it and restart and it fixes. So simple. Was aggravating me forever...made by a guy over at precentral

    Seems to be a common issue. Glad there's a fix. Anyone know if it's perminant or do we have to use this fix over and over? I was on the verge of throwing my touchpad out the window. I still seem to have Wi-Fi connectivity issues at times on other networks (always works great at home) but glad it's not the reason the e-mail was blorked. Maybe it's not the hardware...

    Easy enough for novice?

    is this a fix someone who doesn't know how to program or get to the command line (as of this writing) could do with detailed step by step instructions or am I just toast? Email just stopped working as described in this thread.
