    Practical Uses

I've had my touchpad since the fire sale. Up until now I use it like a big ipod touch. Games, FB, movies and music. I want to start using it more but dont know what it can do. Can you tell me some of the things you use it for?

So far, the most practical things I've used it for has been school. The reading apps (Kindle, pReader, Adobe) have been good for me if I can find a cheap or free version of text I need for a class. Also, I use it to record lectures. I never listen to the recordings, but it makes me feel better about not listening to the professor while I check Facebook and play games.

The amount of productivity you can get from the Touchpad I believe really depends on things you'd already need to do before you purchased one.

For $21.70 shipped, this has been one of my best purchases for the TP (besides the touchstone)

That's a good idea to record class lectures didn't know I could do that. What app do you use to record? Is there a app that lets you take notes like writing on a blank sheet of paper. Gergev that's a good one to I'm ordering one today. Don't really need it I just want it to show off when the fellas come over.

It's a free app to download, Voice Recorder I think it's called. As for note taking, I was there was an Evernote app for the Touchpad (there's only the one for phones in the app store) but Quick Office lets you take notes just fine. Personally I like WritePad (a dollar I the app store) more because it does spell check and just feels easier to work with.
