Android boot menu disappeared after WebOS Update. Help!
Hey guys, recently as all of you may know, HP released an update for the Hp Touch. I was reluctant to do the update, and still am, but what I didn't realize was, if you charge it, it will automatically update. (I'm pissed) So basically after the update, oddly all my patches and etc were working, so I tried to reboot and no boot menu showed up. I cannot access android whatsoever. Then I saw some updates for the patches of mine (no ripples etc) and without reading it, I updated and later saw that it was just a PLACEHOLDER, nothing really installed. So those patches have become useless now, (except uberkernal, which I then overclocked to 1.83ghz). Now I have absolutely no clue how to get my Android back up (originally I bought my touchpad with Android preinstalled), and not only that I really wanted my patches to work (I know the newer versions of the current update are in beta testing, but still). I heard people were using some sort of patch recovery method, not exactly sure what.Any help!?!?! I had CM7 for android, and I saw CM9 was released. So If anyone can help me get the boot menu back up and even suggesting if I should update to CM9 or not, would be of great help!(Should I just do a total wipe on my WebOS? But would that get rid of Android as well or no? I need help!!)

Yeah I got it figured out. I updated to the CM7 3.5 alpha first, then updated to CM9 0.6. Granted there are tons of stuff not working right with CM9 like it did with Cm7, but it is smoother and nicer to use. (But now I cant play my music with the default music app lol... And some other things, hopefully I will soon install some applications and see if one of those can be used for my music.)
But WebOS is a really nice OS, after you overclock is (especially to 1.83 ghz), and apply all the patches to make it run 10x smoother. I love it, and some of the applications it contains are just great which Android does not have.
