External Speakers sounds different!!! (Lots of static)

I was using my "Music Remix" program to listen to music yesterday with no problems. Today my speakers sound "blown". I tried to adjust some settings wih the sound option and Touch Vol but it still sounds like a lot of static coming from my speakers. anyone else had this problem and if so how do I correct it....Thx any help would be appreciated.

It's a well-known problem that no one has been able to figure out what's causing it or how to fix it. The only thing to do is reboot the Touchpad.

You can also use PulseAudio Starter which you can DL from Preware. With it, you don't need to reboot every time your sound goes bad.

Have you ever used it? Cause every time I've tried it completely shuts off the audio and never turns it on again. It also breaks the shutdown function so you have to do a hard reset. Maybe it's just my TP or something in my config, but it's never worked at all for me.

Hmm. Very odd. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy I loaded it up again from Preware (v 1.00, but I seem to remember there being a newer version that's not in Preware), and although it didn't crash the TP like before, it also didn't fix the problem.

BUT... I tried the PulseAudio Restart option in TouchVol, and that works like a charm.
