    Google defaults to mobile now

Does anybody else have this problem, or is it just me. I load google.com and the webpage defaults to mobile mode. I click classic link to fix that, yet if I click on images search with a query already in place it reverts back to mobile. It's super damn annoying. I've tried setting preferences but nothing works. I default load google on tp browser start, inserted the nomo code for no mobile and that works, but only for that page. Someone has to know something about this that I don't. Any help would be appreciated! Dan.

Yes! This just started happening last night around midnight Eastern time. My friend is also experiencing this on his HP TouchPad. Please let me know if you find a solution. Also, please consider helping me make some noise on the Google forums.

Many complaints about this on another webos forum. I've heard back from a Google employee. The issue is now on their radar, so cross your fingers.

God I thought I was alone so I'm glad I got a few replies. Sister has been away so I haven't been able to ask her to check her touchpad - thanks for the replies. I will go and make some noise at that forum linked above as should everyone else reading this post. Thanks for that manlyman. Fingers crossed!

Here's the fix I made using SQLite addon for Firefox:

here's the modified file with the fix for that section that will give you back normal Google search page; http://www.mediafire.com/?ove1qkqe6uunnhk

All one has to do is send it to the TP directory: /var/luna/preferences/
You can use WEBQI, tools menu and select send file.

Be sure to save the original file before overwriting it with this one.[/QUOTE]

You have to do a full device restart. Luna restart isn't enough.

Google appears to have fixed the problem.
