Thread: Touchstone Problem

IM having issuses with my touchstone. it wont charge my pre, its plugged into the Mains, the cable can charge the Pre through the charger port.

it just keeps cycling a Bing Bong sound, can anyone help?

This has been a common problem with some people's touchstones. Does it only happen when it gets near 100% charged? One way to fix it is to make sure the palm logo on the back of the Pre lines up with the Palm logo on the Touchstone. Another fix is to put a slip of paper between the Pre and the Touchstone.

If none of those fix it then you have a bad Touchstone. You can either go back and ask for an exchange at the store you got it from or install the patch named "ts charge alert fix" from Preware. If you don't know what Preware is then look at this page: [Only visible to members, ]

I haven't had any problems with mine

Mine has had the same issues its probably cause it isnt lined up with the touchstone

I just had this happen to me last night. woke up this morning and i had 8% battery left. Not a good start for my work day.

Yeah, DEFINITELY! It's so handy. I have 2 of them, 1 for my desk and 1 next to my bed. Even though my desk is underneath my lofted bed, lol! You can get them for just $9.99 on verizon's site and it comes with a free car charger.
