Thread: HP TouchPad Touchstone worth it?

Got mine today with my brand new 32GB Touchpad. Fantastic product, love it!

I think the Touchstone is well worth it.

does the pre's docking station work with the touchpad?

Where could I find one ?

Anyone tried this with a Powermat?

Does this come with its own power supply or do you use the one that comes with the TouchPad?

Never mind, just saw that it has a built-in power cord.

not worth it. $40. that's half the price of a 16gb. plus, the cable still needs to exist. get yourself an $8 sleeve that can do the stand like an ipad 2 and you're done. $40+ kills the steal that is the touchpad

I agree, I bought one at Staples just because it was cheap. Still tempted to sell it on ebay just to recoop some funds.

Picked up two at $80 shipped... it's pretty sweet. I have one on my desk and one on my nightstand.

I use mine too to charge it over night, it's quite effective!

i bought this when it went on sale at office depot for 39.99. i wasnt a big fan of it. especially if your gonna get a case (which i know you will ). i sold mine same price as i got it for. i also got the keyboard for 29.99 which i dont even use lol. but for a excellent quality wireless keyboard that you can use for other devices, not limited to the TP, its a bargain compared to other brands at the same price point.

anyone knows where that these is still available? other than from HP which is $40. My friend bought it during the fire sale for $29.99

this thing is pretty worth it, i got it for $45 bucks but still worth it.

I like the touchstone. Was a bit smaller than expected, but it is sturdy. Charges fast, not sure if it faster than the wired. Worth it if you can get it under $40.

I try not to use the on/off and home buttons, mechanical points of failure. I use "Info" to shut down. When you place the TP on the touchstone, it starts it back up automagically.

love the convenience of this. Can charge portrait and landscape with the case attached.

i got the touchstone, keyboard, and case for 75 total shipped on the site using a coupon for 30 dollars off, but that coupon has since stopped working.
