Which Skin Do You Use??? I personally am using the [Only visible to members, ], I find it to be good for the most part but on my launch day pre i needed to change it Three times already. But i guess with the lifetime warranty's, it ain't so bad. I had did some searching and was able to find some interesting ones out in the market today which wasn't really their when i was searching last year, so i might make a change but the lifetime warranty is hard for me to pass up. I know some others out their also has lifetime warranty just like the Zagg's, but i already paid for mine so not really looking to make another investment, well of course if yous guys just so happen to bend my arm and make me then thats fine
what are the skins you guys and gals are using ??????

The Palm Pre Plus Skin Protector features two layers of protection. The first, topmost layer contains no unsightly "orange peel effect," while providing scratch-resistance and UV protection for anti-yellowing. The second layer is a thick, puncture resistant film to minimize damage from scrapes and dents. Unlike other Palm Pre Plus screen protectors and skins, the TechSkin features "self-healing" technology, meaning scratches do not stay on the film, and keeps your Palm Pre Plus looking new.

I don't have a skin for mine, Imma cheap S.O.B. Lol.
Exactly one of the reasons why I joined this site, haha.
When I bought my Pre though the salesman told us about Invisible Shield, said you can get it done at Best Buy, I think?
I dunno, but he said to get the whole phone covered it costs like 20 bucks.

The first time i had put on my invisible shield i messed it up,bad. The problem is with the sponge that they give you. i had an extra small spray bottle that i had squeezed the solution in to this way i could spray the thing to put it on and the results turned out waaaayyyyy better

i have insurance, so majority of the time i don't use any shield. I have the ZAGG ones but the Pre LCD feels 10x better without the shield. sooooo smoooth.

I voted other because I like the feel of the touchstone backing and I had to buy it separate since I have a sprint pre so I consider it a skin

I just picked up a Skinomi screen protector from amazon for $9.95. Installed it last night and let it dry all day. So far the device still has that shiny screen and it looks and fits great. Good thing is that it comes with a lifetime warranty, so if something ever goes wrong a can get a new one at no cost

I prefer commando. I actually bought a skin on Ebay a LONG time ago and never put it on. I'm definitely paying for it now that my screened is so scuffed but oh well...

I used to use the Invisible shield, but it was never installed properly so eventually I just got sick of it and threw it away.

I always found it silly that people go out of their way to buy cases that turn a sexy phone into a hideous brick.
I suppose skins are different because most of them are invisible. I'm a big fan of the supplied pouch, personally.

Seidio screen protector 2-pack from Amazon was perfect for my wife's and my Pre. Can't even see it is there but has saved me from having a scratched screen many times.

I don't use a screen protector, but I got this awesome phone skin which covers my phone in a stylish pattern, picked it up at a mall nearby.
- 07-25-2010, 03:53 AM #18
I use the Skinomi Techskin that covers the front of the phone, and a UniqueSkin I made that I have on the back cover (I removed the front one to put on the screen protector). I installed the Techskin today, and just like it said in the instructions the microbubbles and streaks disappeared! It also reduced the appearance of some scratches I got on the screen, maybe the adhesive filled them in a bit?

I've used the Phantom Skinz as well as Zagg Invisible Shield. The Phantom Skinz lasted about 6 months before the edges started to pull away so I ended up replacing it with Zagg skinz for the screen protector and then opted for an Otterbox case which I am very satisfied with.
