Question: Will all the debug crap we all switched off, be back on & we wait for Preware updates for patches?

ahhhh i installed the update, and now all the patches i had installed via preware are gone/dont work. private browsing is gone and so is 'advanced reset options'... i uninstalled advanved reset options then tried to reinstall it via preware and it doesnt show up anywhere. please help!!

i need help...i just updated mine to 3.0.4 and now it doesn't charge or get detected in usb mode. Help please!

Is any one having problems with accelerometer in Asphalt 6 HD and NFS HP after the 3.04 update? It's basically messed up while playing. I cannot turn and even if I do, its not proper.

I have the same problem :'(

OK played with it for awhile following the update, I see the following good (+)'es & (-)'es :

+ Much smoother using just the default build
+ More in the HP App Catalogue
+ A Camera App (not such a biggie given camera quality but hey ho)

- WiFi seems to hang up more often and recovery only via manual disable/enable
- Some very useful patches are no longer available and some were brilliant optimisations
- Less availability of patches etc in Preware

Previous questions still remain, are a lot of the Debug Logging modes now back on for some things because the patch was invalidated? I have done the minimum logs fix again via the ##LOGS# in the Settings > Device Info > Custom Application area, but I think that was already in place and had remained despite the OTA Update!

All in all I think it is a good update on the performance side but has introduced some niggles and also left the user community with a lot of unanswered questions (mainly involving patches and Preware and they may be released again under a new 3.04 build stream so have a little patience)

...I'm not 100% sure about the WiFi yet so will try another known good Cisco Access Point and see if that gives same results. Since I am not a big user of games I cannot speak for the Accelerometer issues reported but it does sound like it has introduced problems!

I updated my TouchPad and it works awesome. NICE UPDATE! The TouchPad is so unique in design and OS compared to all the Androids and iPads out there.

I am experiencing the problem... Anyone have a solution to get those patches back?

Me too, webos support have asked me to re-load via webos doctor, doing that now, but i guess this won't help!
