Outdated Apps don't work anymore Hey guys!
At first i want to thank you for uploading all these nice Touchpad apps and games!
I tried to find a page like this about 5 hours and now I'm really happy about having finished my search.
Now to my problem... i downloaded and installed several games, e.g. http://www.webosbuzz.com/hp-touchpad...-piano-hd.html or http://www.webosbuzz.com/hp-touchpad...ceblip-hd.html.
Now some hours later software manager tells me that three updates are available (1 for a free app und 2 for the ones from your board). I agreed and started the procedure but it failed for the 2 ones that aren't part of my webos account.
Okay that is not a real problem, i could easily life without the update until a newer version is released here but now i can't open the apps anymore. Its icons are greyed out and have a little yellow exclamation mark in its edge...
Is there any way to solve the problem?
How can I prevent such situations in the future?
Is there maybe even a way to update my apps without buying them?
Thank you in advance!
Best regard,
Scripter

you should be able to click update and then select 'dont upgrade' and that would allow it to be used.
PM me any of my threads needs an update.

Is there any way to prevent the Software Manager from checking for updates?

pretty sure you can uninstall and reinstall the games and apps again. do not update them or they will become corrupted again. just say no to updates. you manually have to click that you want them.
