Thread: How to install Preware: webOS Testing Feeds

The homebrew community is great and one of the good things are trying out some experimental apps before they are released into the Preware default feeds. Here are simple instructions on how to install the testing feeds.

This is testing feeds for patches/apps not to get confused with the kernel testing feeds.

You will need to install TWO feeds. Depending on your device.

1- Must add this first and needed for ALL devices!

• Name: webos-testing-all
  URL: http://ipkg.preware.org/feeds/webos-...ls/testing/all
  Make sure the 'IS COMPRESSED' is set to YES.

2-Now install the feed that correlates with your device.

• Device: Pre/Pre+/Pre2/Veer/TouchPad/Pre3
  Name: webos-testing-armv7
  URL: http://ipkg.preware.org/feeds/webos-.../testing/armv7

• Target Device: Pixi/Pixi+
  Name: webos-testing-armv6
  URL: http://ipkg.preware.org/feeds/webos-.../testing/armv6

• Target Device: Palm SDK Emulator
  Name: webos-testing-i686
  URL: http://ipkg.preware.org/feeds/webos-...s/testing/i686

Again, Make sure the 'IS COMPRESSED' is set to YES, and NEVER include the / at the end of the URL.

There you go and you have the testing feeds.

does anyone have,know away to install via preware n not new wsy? What I mean is does anyone have the file for the hulu fix patch?
