Box.net music streaming Everyone has 50GB storage so I figured I will let you guys know of a nifty way to get music streaming out of your Box account!!
1) Open Box.net on browser
2) Select your music folder and click the small downward facing arrow
3) Select share - send link to folder
4) Type your email and open link on your Touchpad browser from your email or directly
5) Click song to play and choose autoplay next song
6) Select full screen for continuous uninterrupted play!
Normally through the app you can only download files - this method will let you stream.
Hence no need to save those music files and kill your storage - you need the storage for games, apps and Cynagenmod Android!

Nice tip! I use Orb for this but it's always nice to have options.
You could also use Splashtop and play music from your iTunes/Foobar2000/Windows Media player on your desktop etc.. Also Google Music beta and Amazon Cloud player both work very well. It's cool that there are so many ways to do the same thing I think.Last edited by MxChris; 10-02-2011 at 09:43 PM.

I have more than 10 GB songs. Both google music and amazon cloud dont match up to that and paying is madness.
you can full screen it and turn your display down.

10 gb of songs is what I currently scroll through
obviously I am not 50 years old as you to have 450 GB of songs from the 60's.
Seriously, are you saying you currently listen to 100,000 songs?
Assuming an average mp3 = 5mb
hence approx:
1GB = 200 songs
100 Gb = 20,000 songs
500Gb = 100,000 songs
You are either bored in life or you are schizophrenic and are advised by the doctor to listen to songs every minute of the day in order to avoid the "voices"

Google music plays when Touchpad is asleep? or, how do you do that? My audio stops after a few seconds of being asleep.

I don't listen to music every day, but I have most grateful dead shows from archive.org at high bit rate, downloaded from before they started pulling a lot of them for commercial use, filling up most of a 500gb drive.
Then I have a few other songs to create playlists from when I feel like it. It's all about choice.

When I sign into Box.net using the TP browser, it doesn't load completely and I can't select "Share" or anything else on the page. It's like its frozen. Tried advance browser and m.box.net. Same thing. Anyone else with the same problem?

Or just use the Audiogalaxy web app? Then there's no size limit at all since all your music is still on your PC.You can also make playlists etc and not have to jump through hoops to make it work.

to share - use your PC browser.
or I believe from the mobile app you can get the link. Then just paste it on your touchpad browser and you are set.
book mark it and press full screen.
It will never stop after you press full screen and the screen will not lock.

You can also use a shortcut to free a free google site to stream, and use webonex in exhibition
Type
auto-play next file box.net
into google search to see how many people have embedded streaming into their websites.
I've got a shortcut on my launcer to a free google site page were I've embeded a google gadget player with box.net embdeded link. If you embed a folder, and check off auto-play next file, it will stream all the songs.
To get a folder embeded
https://support.box.net/entries/2036...bsite#overview
you can also put in a drop box
